Rockies Game - Take 2

With the likelihood of snow essentially zero, we figured it was time to head out to another Saturday at Coors field. Early September, the Rockies ending the season on a serious slide from playoff contention; enter a troupe of crazy kids and hope for the best.

Well no planes, no trains; but automobiles followed by buses is sure to get the kids attention. After parking it was on to the shuttle bus to the stadium...free parking comes at a cost and in this case the result was entertainment all around.

Pre-game, batting practice, working our way down to the dugout. A quick moment with Mom and smiles all around.

A park at the ballpark? Who would have guessed...better story was the small section of iron tables we located on the back side of one of the restaurants to have lunch. While Dad filled the kids full of strawberries and snacks, Mom rounded up some hot dogs and beverages.

The sun was hot this September day but the park was plenty of inspiration for these kids. This was not the first time that Jack pushed the envelope on the ladder, but as usual he has his big sister at arms length. Not pictured, Mom & Dad taking turns hugging the shade.

OK, not the seats Dad uses for work but also not a bad view. We had to make sure we kept our mile high status (the row of purple seats barely visible in the third tier, several below us!)
Naptime....that sun really wears you out...

A tiara? A princess even at a ballgame...

Clearly a big play, all are standing, all are clapping, Jack has awoken, if only we can remember what the play was!
