Summer in April?

Well, it's officially spring...and might as well be summer. You can tell from the grass that it is closer to winter than July, but you would not know it from our Saturday. Ella was bent on having a "beach party" in the back yard as Mom and Dad started some yard work. I'd say she was successful in achieving her goal!

As hard to believe as it may be, pushing 80 degrees, the sprinkler was brought out. We officially have our most fearless child as Jack went straight for the sprinkler itself and was undeterred by a spray directly to the face.

Big brother was not quite as fearless, but seemed to gain some courage with Jack's fearlessness....a trend to remember for future years.

Oh, and it snowed on Sunday....this may be one of those days that we look back on for the insights on personality....Ella relaxing in the sun, shades on...Jack fearless in pursuit of excitement...Hank taking it all in and forging his own path.
