A bit late for the traditional Catholic Baptism, but none the less it was time. A baptism class at St Mary's, some correspondence with St Cecilia's and all was set. All it took was a short drive down to Omaha, a few additional arrangements and the weekend was set for a family extravaganza!
Prior to heading down to the Cathedral the big kids sat for a split second for a picture.

If you dug through enough family pictures you could likely find a picture of Dad walking the same path to the altar. Two happy boys taking a stroll.

Though not his day, Jack was having plenty of fun, the space carried his voice so well!
Introductions...

The beginning of the sacrament...very calm thus far; all went well as we moved to the Baptismal Font (a few years previous Dad was Baptized in the same spot)

After it was over, an attempt at a family picture. We almost had everyone's attention.

Luckily the gate was closed, otherwise the altar may have been overrun. You have to love Jack's grin

After all was said and done, off to Mama's pizza for lunch and conversation. Maybe in a few years their feet will reach the bottom of the bar stool...Syler, Hank, and Ella enjoy themselves while everyone enjoys themselves.

A small group and some good catching up.
