Continuing Festivities

The holiday weekend continued in full Christmas mode with a playhouse Christmas tree and cookie decorating. Dad spent all day Sunday climbing on the house putting up Christmas lights so Mom needed to come up with a distraction for the kids. Mom and Ella were able to set up a Christmas tree in the playhouse with leftover tree branches and confiscated (non-breakable) ornaments.
Almost like the real thing.

Once Dad was done we headed inside for hard core cookie decorating. Mom learned last year to bake the cookies in advance to avoid extra "help" that would result in total flour explosion in the kitchen. Jack was put to bed early and the big kids were recruited to help decorate.

All ready to go, little fingers in the candy bowl!

Hank dressed for the event, a white wife beater and black sparkle clippy.

Ella took decorating very seriously and did a really great job.

Shake, shake, shake sprinkles everywhere!
