Birthday Extravaganza

It is finally Ella's birthday! Ella has been waiting (somewhat patiently) for her birthday for months. Everyday she asks, multiple times, it is my birthday? She has been forlorn as we have wrapped many presents for other children, including her brother, but it still wasn't her turn.

Well the week long celebration has finally begun. Today was her birthday party with her preschool friends, soon to be followed by a party at school on Thursday and a family party next Saturday.

Earlier in the day we had gone to the party store and Ella had picked out pink and blue balloons and Diego plates and napkins. Ella's preschool friends Ariya and Emily and their families joined us for beverages (for the adults), pizza, cake and presents. Ella was a bit cautious at first but soon warmed up.

Still not sure about being the center of attention.

Make a wish and watch your nose, she singed it a bit on the last blow.
