On the Move!!

We are moving to Denver!!

Dad was offered a Sales Manager position in Denver.  Denver is where Otis's regional offices are so we shouldn't have to move again anytime soon.  Negotiations have been going on for more than three months.  Someday we will look back and laugh at the situation but for right now we are still a bit peeved about living in limbo for so long.  We are finally starting to put things in motion.  Dad is getting ready to move May 1st,  Mom and the kids are staying behind until the condo sells.  Dad will be flying back on weekends if nothing else than to scrape Mom up off the floor from exhaustion.

We will be sad to leave our family behind, Grandma, Papa, Auntie Cary and Cousin Kenwyn.  Ella's favorite place in the whole world is Papa's house.  Every pretend bus ride, bike ride or train ride always leads to Papa's house.  We will also be sad to leave our friends behind.  Ella actually has about a dozen friends,  seven of which she has known for almost two years.  When you are only two and a half that is pretty significant.

Mom and Dad have not been sure how to approach sharing this news with Ella.  We are sure she doesn't understand the magnitude of the situation but does know there is a change coming soon.  Mom and Dad told Ella last night that we would be moving to a new house and her response was "Bring tools, help build new house, Ella use little screwdriver."  Hopefully she isn't too disappointed when we don't actually build our new house.

I'm sure you're bummed to leave your family, but Colorado is great and I'm sure Ella will make new friends. Depending on where you live around Denver, Reagan would love a new buddy. Let us know if you need help with anything.
