Easter Trip to Omaha - First Plane Ride

for Hank that is...and for Mom & Dad it's the first time we've attempted to travel as a family of four! As usual, Mom put forth a fair measure of planning into this adventure. We had our car seats, a well stocked carry on bag, and a few new toys to serve as distractions. A drive to the airport parking lot, a shuttle bus to the terminal, a train to our satellite terminal, then on board to prep for takeoff!

Nope, but all smiles! Don't worry about what's keeping your sister busy behind you!

At our layover in Denver, Ella found the best toy of all, a cherry-picker! It was adjacent to our gate and provided almost 30 minutes of distraction! I'm not sure how effective the doll will be at changing light bulbs!

Then off to baggage claim and the rental counter! The end is in sight!

p.s. our kids are great travelers, usually eliciting positive comments from our neighbors when we leave the plane, quite rewarding after the look of horror we usually get when we sit down!
