Happy Birthday Daddy!

With the old man's birthday at hand, it was time for the final preparations. Dad had a very busy week, to the point that the family did not see much of him (out before dawn, home well after bedtime). Mom prepared a nice pasta dinner augmented by a little red wine; the table was set as Dad made it home from work.

Ella's was in full swing....first Dad's birthday, then Hank's, then Ella's!

With a little guidance from Mom, Ella helps put the finishing touches on the cake (home baked, a lucky man indeed).

There's nothing like feeding a 1 year old cake and frosting in the evening!

These 33 years have been a pretty good run and things continue moving in the right direction. Dad is truly blessed.
