Labor Day Trip to the Big "O"

For Labor Day we headed to Omaha to visit friends and family. The Sennett's were kind enough to host our ever growing brood. Saturday morning we had lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Chatterton before Dad and Sam headed to Lincoln for the Huskers game. It was the first game Dad had been to since graduation, he was pretty pumped! Holly, Mom and the kids headed to the Pizza Machine for pizza buffet and video machine fun.

On Sunday we went to see the Dino exhibit at the Fontenelle Forest. The dinosaurs were a big hit with Ella and Syler. There was a maze of trails for the kids to run and special interactive exhibits including a treehouse, a digging center and musical instruments. We finished the trip with a Sunday evening BBQ before heading out Monday morning. It was a great trip, we were sad to leave. Ella is already quizzing us about the next trip to see Syler.

The water hose game was the biggest hit with Ella, although player #2 always wins?
Shooting hoops.

Even Hank got in on the fun.

Little hesitant.

The treehouse was a big hit - there were even binoculars. (Ella is currently a big Dora fan!)

Even the little man had fun.
