Trees, Football and Bathtime

As we wind down our time in Ballard, Mom & Dad are doing our best to instill the final positive memories. Our little condominium has been quite good to us, we hope the next owner enjoys it as much as we have. This will be the second home that we've brought a child home from the hospital to...only to say goodbye within a year...

Out front, just off the patio, is a tree of unknown species. It has some strange little seed balls that are either red or green depending on the type of year. When we shift the little slide over off the patio, you're nearly at it's base. It has branches that are the perfect height for little girls to sit on...and strong enough only to support a little one's weight! Dad has been helping Ella to "climb" the tree! We won't show Mom the "balance" portion!

To ensure she doesn't forget her sports allegiances, Mom hooked our little girl up with her own 12th man jersey.; Never mind that it's a tripping hazard, we cannot play football or soccer around the condo without it!
Let's hope that the kids can have their own (shared) bathroom in Denver! Bathtime has always been a hit, even more so now that Hank can participate. He can't quite win the battle for toys, but Ella does share most of the time...

And when she doesn't it's usually forgotten quickly. Mom does seem to get the best smiles out of our little man!

The house remains in the staged mode...but Hank is not phased. Mom has done an amazing job keeping the condo ready in case any would be buyer strolled through the door. As you might imagine our little angels only helped her efforts (yeah right).
