Trip to the Lavendar Festival

Mom and Ella took a trip out to the Lavender Festival in Sequim, WA with our playgroup friends Eloise and her mom Stephanie.

The girls really enjoyed the ferry we took across to the peninsula. Ella is just starting to speak the names of her friends, they are often open to interpretation. On this day Ella started saying Eloise however it came out as "Elway." Ella and Eloise ran around on the ferry with Ella yelling "Elway, Elway, run, run, run" much to the other passengers' amusement.

We visited three different lavender farms, shopping crafts and sampling tasty lavender foods including lavender sausage (sounds strange but was very good.) The whole goal of visiting the festival is for the perfect photo opportunity. Ella was very cooperative and we did manage to get our shot.

Fun ferry ride.

Visiting with the Alpacas

Smells yummy.

The perfect picture worth the trip
