Grandparents All Around

Early in the evening Thursday Grandma and Grandpa Chatterton arrived on a after a cross country drive. It had been a few months since Ella had a chance to spend some time with them, and we were excited to have them for a long weekend. To carry the grandparent theme even further, Grandma and Grandpa Bursch had the whole group over for dinner on Friday.

Everyone (except DJ who was cooking salmon on the BBQ) relaxed the fire...OK it wasn't really a fire given the burn ban in the Cascades and big cedar tree that drapes over the house; but we were creek side and the conversation was a lot of fun.

Meanwhile, Grandma Bursch had picked up a little pool and had all of Ella's favorite toys out ready for her arrival. We are officially on notice of future spoiling....
