Its Pumpkin Time

With Halloween upon us, it was time to carve the pumpkins! Pumpkin carving on a Nebraska game day no less. In full disclosure, the subject pumpkins were not plucked from a field, but rather the local home depot...a bit more manageable given the current state of the family.  After some preparation (note the newspaper...), the old man breaks out a knife while we still have complete attention from the troops.

Once we had the lid opened, it was time to see if Dad was going to have any help cleaning out the seeds and pulp...it was not in the cards this year either. It was at least amusing.


Curiosity continues and Ella's hand is going in that direction, but this picture documents about as far as it made it.
