A Trip to the Seattle Aquarium

We've developed a habit of trying to get up and at em at least one weekend day each week. This week it was off to the aquarium. It was a gray fall Sunday with a chill in the air (typical except for the lack of precipitation) so it was a perfect day to find an indoor activity.

Dad spent much of the day trying to coax Ella into the perfect picture pose (s). This tube had illuminated jellyfish swimming all around...Ella was not as cooperative but she was having fun.

There are a couple large touch & feel tide pools with starfish, anemones, and the like...it weirded Ella out more than anything.

Not sure how Mom got this picture as Ella was only still for a split second.

The otters were a big hit!
