First Camping Trip of the Season

This weekend marked our first camping trip of the season.

Last time Ella was camping she was 9 months old so this was a bit of a new experience for her. Because it has been so cold our normal campsites in Eastern Washington are still under several feet of snow. We headed up highway 410 to the base of Crystal Mountain to find a campsite figuring we could crash at the Grandparents on the way home.

Ella was a trooper throughout the whole trip. Although she really doesn't like dirt or being dirty she eventually came around and had fun exploring the campsite, poking at rocks and such.

Cheeto's make the car ride so much more fun. (No, they aren't organic!)

During the day we hiked through the snow down to the river. Ella had fun splashing in the river.

Just chillin around the campsite. Not sure what is with the open mouth rocker face.


Cheetos are good for breakfast too!!
