Easter Fun

Easter weekend we headed down to Grandpa and Grandma's house in Enumclaw. Luckily the weather cooperated, a perfect 70 degrees and sunny. We celebrated with two Easter Egg hunts followed by a huge dinner after which we laid around in a food induced coma.

Easter Egg hunt #1 at the Enumclaw fairgrounds. Ella was a bit hesitant at first. The hunt was separated by age group, still Ella didn't have much of a chance against the three year olds, the whole hunt lasted about 4 minutes.

Not quite sure what to do .

Eventually she got the hang of it, however Grandma kept trying to put cookies in her basket. Ella didn't like that, she kept throwing the cookies out. Only eggs go in the basket! We wonder how she became so particular hmmmm......

Hunt #2 at Grandpa's. The Easter bunny was a little ambious and "hid" about two dozen eggs. Ella's attention span was approximately four eggs - this hunt was ongoing all day.

Ella got an impressive assortment of bubbles in her Easter basket. The Easter bunny had to be very creative since she is still too little for candy. But bubbles are always a big hit.
