It's a Boy!!

Henry "Hank" Milton Stanley made his debut November 6th at 10:06am. He was 7lbs 6oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Considering he was 11 days early from his original due date, he is a good size baby boy.

Mom and Dad headed to the hospital with Grandma around 7:30am. Ella stayed home and played with Papa. On the way to the hospital Dad kept pressing Mom for a decision on a girls name, the boys name having been finalized months ago. Mom kept saying don't worry about it, I don't want to talk about it. Maybe she knew something?

The surgery went perfectly. The doctor let Dad announce the sex, you've never seen a prouder Dad. Everyone came home after three restful days in the hospital.

Hank is a pretty mellow guy, he is a great eater and would nurse 24/7 if Mom would let him. So far he is a good sleeper, sleeping very well in his bassinet although that could still change. He does have a bit of a temper especially when there is food involved.

Ella is infatuated with her little brother. She loves to hold him, give him high fives and tickle his toes. While she loves her brother Ella is less than pleased with Mom at the moment and is not relinquishing her princess title without a fight.

Mom & Dad hours before the big arrival!

Mom's last few moments with her little buddy.

Moments after birth, Dad can confirm his lungs are functioning properly.

A proud father
Hank meets his mother officially.
Did we say proud father?
Warming up for a first bath.

Ella has a little brother!

Cuddling with Mom...almost a grin for Dad.
Resting peacefully.
