The Youngins

This is the story of our youngins, starting with Ella in New York City and continuing with the addition of Hank in Seattle and Jack and Meg in Colorado. Keep watching for what's next....

The Children's Museum

Among our growing list of memberships is the Seattle Children's Museum. After spending a few years in NYC, Dad has come to think of a museum in a certain light...however different, the Children's Museum is a hit with Ella and perfect for the impending Northwest winter.

One of the exhibits is a Metro Bus...assembled from actual bus pieces. It's a big hit as Ella has taken a liking to driving Mom's car these days.

OK, it's hard to tell what is going on here, but this is Ella exiting the mouth of a whale....makes sense now huh?

Occasionally the simplest activity is a big hit. Not much tops a slide, especially a fast metal slide (all the slides at the parks are made of plastic in these safety conscious days).

The museum has a large multicultural area. Here Ella and Dad play the drums in an African household. Just take a guess who has more rhythm? (Hint: it's not Dad)

Ironically not as big a hit as we thought it would be, the grocery store exhibit allowed Ella to fill Mom's shoes for a half an hour....
