Nick & Stacey's Wedding

So why brave subzero temperatures and visit Nebraska in January? Dad's cousin Nick and his fiancee Stacey were finally (her opinion I'm sure) tying the knot!

In between the ceremony and the reception, Aunt Kathy held a cocktail reception...however Mom & Dad drove around the Big O so Ella could nap. That made us among the first to arrive at the reception hall. Ella took control of the dance floor.

Mom took advantage of the break between festivities to don some jeans. This turned out to be a very wise move as Ella tore up the dance floor first, then the entire reception hall (often with milk in hand).

During the festivities we even snuck in a family picture.

Ella was on overload with all the people (400+) at the reception. When we tried to get a picture with Grandma and Grandpa, it seemed luck (and Ella's temperament) were not on our side.

She did manage to calm down after Grandma & Grandpa both started making faces.

So, Dad shot this photo of Jill, Ella, Mom, and Dede...Jill and Dede are both expecting their third child...another round of babies seems to be starting in the extended Stoffel clan.

Ella blows raspberries for Mom, not an unusual event, but the flowers were a hit.

Well, when the bridal party took the stage with the band, Ella was quite interested in all the activity.

She's danced on many occasions before, but this one frightens Dad a bit...think 15 years from now.

A first attempt at a father-daughter dance.
