A Visit to St. Nick

Great effort was taken to ensure that Ella's 1st Birthday and Christmas, though quite close, did not intermingle in the realm of gifts and seasonal traditions (except of course the Christmas tree, because you can't have a tree for only a week...). So with only a few days for Santa to work his magic before Christmas, Ella took a trip down to Nordstrom's to sit on the big man's lap. It did not go as planned....


Dad tried to ease the transition with little success.

Santa was quite jolly, to no avail.
