Happy 1st Birthday

Ella is officially 1 year old!

We had an early birthday celebration at Grammie and Papa's house in Enumclaw. Grammie made Ella friendly fettuccini for dinner and Ella got to eat as many Cherrios as she wanted. Ella was a bit under the weather but was a trooper, she even tolerated her princess crown.

Mom told everyone not to have many expectations about opening presents as she had heard that most kids love boxes more than the toys. Not so for Ella. She knew exactly that there were new toys, we couldn't get the boxes open fast enough for her. Grammie and Papa got her a ride on Zebra, Ella was climbing on as Dad was still putting on the bolts.

Overall it was a fun night; however Ella now thinks all presents are for opening. She has already taken a crack at some of the Christmas presents under the tree.

Cherrios are the best!
