A Cousin on the way!

With Aunt Cary's due date approaching, Grandma threw a shower for the expectant couple. There were plenty of preparations that involved the whole clan, but when the day of the bash arrived it was smooth sailing (except for leaking baby baths in use as coolers...).

As long as we're taking photos, a family shot seemed in order.

One of the activities for the shower was the creation of a playdoh baby (Mom was the activities chair). Ella saw the entertainment value of the playdoh (while still in the containers) and due to missing colors the game didn't make the final cut.

A brief quiet moment before company arrives.

The shower was a hit, especially in Ella's eyes. Balloons, playmates, and NFL football (oddly the women and children commandeered the TV room leaving the men in the kitchen)
