2 Months Old

Jack is two months old today. In some ways he has been the easiest baby, in other ways our most challenging. Jack is genuinely a very content baby. Every three hours he asks to be fed, when he is tired he likes to be swaddled with his paci and falls right to sleep. Jack loves to smile, mostly at Mom, Dad or Big Sister. He is happiest sitting in his bouncy chair in the kitchen looking out the window pondering the world.

Ella and Hank are infatuated with their little brother. Mom has been surprised how incredibly gentle they are with him, especially Hank which it a bit of a bulldozer at the moment. They love to give him kisses and hugs and show him their toys.

While Jack is happy guy now he has had a series of small medical issues. We were at the doctor every week for the first six weeks he was home. Jack had issues with his umbilical cord, his circumcision (don't worry everything is intact :) ) and stomach issues we are still dealing with. He has reflux which is being controlled by medication and several food sensitivites. Mom has given up dairy, wheat and strawberries. When she slips up Jack is very vocal the next day.

It seems as if the "wee-man" has always been here.
