Pumpkin Carving

In final preparation for Halloween we had our first family pumpkin carving session. Weather permitted us to utilize the patio, which was probably a good idea considering the mess we made.

Ella was apprehensive at first...

With a little persuasion from Mom (and reassurance that it was OK), Ella jumped in with both hands.

She definitely did her part to prepare for carving.
