11 Weeks - Ella Passed Her First Test!

11 Week Down Syndrome Test - She passed!

Mom and Dad went to St. Vincent's Hospital today for a Down's test. We had to wait over an hour for the doctor and Dad was very irritated, unusual for Dad to lose his cool before Mom .....

We finally got in to see Dr. Margona but Ella was not cooperating. The doctor needed to measure the space at the back of her neck and she needed to be laying sideways, instead she was standing straight up facing out. The Doctor had Mom cough and Ella moved a little but not enough. Then mom had to lay on her side and a different tech came in. She was not quite as nice, she was shaking the ultra sound wand on mom's belly to get Ella to move. Mom almost yelled at her "Leave my baby alone!" She also had to pee which did not help the situation.

Eventually Ella cooperated and we got the measurement. The doctor said everything looked good.

Dad swears she is shaking her fist at the doctor in the picture.
